Trauma
Understanding
Trauma is not only what happened to you. It can also be what you needed but did not receive—and the protective patterns your mind and body developed to help you survive.
Fight, flight, freeze and people-pleasing can appear in ways we do not immediately recognise. What looks like laziness may be exhaustion, burnout or a nervous system that has finally shut down after spending too long on high alert.
This stage is about recognising your patterns with curiosity instead of shame. You are gaining the understanding needed to choose what happens next.
